We are sitting on our own oil supplies, yet we’re not even allowed to drill for it. Starmer has chosen welfare over defence and can no longer claim that he is fulfilling the first responsibility of Government, the safety of its people. Unless our government starts to spend the money needed to increase defence spending now, if that means taking more people off the welfare conveyor belt and putting them into work and getting rid of people who have no right to be in this country and cutting the net zero fiasco then so be it.
