State of Play - Your View

It’s very difficult to know where to start when you look at the state of the country. In the aftermath of the awful attacks on the Jewish community in Golders Green and the war in Iran that has only gone to highlight Britains weakness on the world stage, here are some of your thoughts:

The war in Iran has highlighted our over reliance on gas and oil from the Middle East. Mad Red Ed and his eco zealotry are going to cause economic decline on mass scale. We are sitting on our own oil supplies, yet we’re not even allowed to drill for it. Instead, we’re buying gas and oil from Norway and guess where they’re getting the oil from… the North Sea UTTER MADNESS

Another attack on the Jewish community… the liberal elite refuse to accept that Islam is a political and social system at odds with our own. Nick Timothy stuck his neck out and gets called a racist, even though the majority of the public agreed with him.

Labour does not address Islamic extremism; they prefer to talk about islamophobia. They are 100% in the pocket of the Islamic movement. They’ve lost the old school ‘working class’ vote, so now they must pander to the Islamic community, but even that’s going to backfire as the Greens have already started to build a core Muslim vote.

Pam O’Neal

Antisemitism and Islamist terrorism on the rise, yet the Islamist and institutionally antisemitic Labour Party create an Islamophobia law and bang on about the mythical far right bogeyman. The next election cannot come soon enough.

Starmer makes Neville Chamberlain look like a competent war time leader. He’d would rather spend money on the ridiculous unreformed Motability scheme than our armed forces. He’s the weakest PM in living memory, of that there’s no doubt.

Graham Keane

Starmer has chosen welfare over defence and can no longer claim that he is fulfilling the first responsibility of Government, the safety of its people. Unless our government starts to spend the money needed to increase defence spending now, if that means taking more people off the welfare conveyor belt and putting them into work and getting rid of people who have no right to be in this country and cutting the net zero fiasco then so be it.
